what is EFS and to use
the encrypting file system on Microsoft windows is a feature introduced inversion 30. of NTFS . this security are provide no other user cannot access other user file and folder. this is very good security of windows to save the data to other user
let's start how to apply EFS on file and folder
- step 1 go to file and folder properties
- go to advance option
- click on encrypt contents to secure data
- than apply and OK
- now to to cmd with win+r
- now type command cd / cipher ?R:C:\ then type password
- after set password now install two certification file
- go to my computer C disk .CER PFX one by one install
- after installation file know open administrator policy
- local security policy
- public key policy
- encryption file right click
- add data recovery agent next
- browse folder my computer c drive
- select .cef file
- open yes next finish
